The Rev. Dr. Daryl S. Everett
Dewey F. Beam Professor of Pastoral Care
Dr. Everett earned his undergraduate degree from Youngstown University, his M.Div., from Hamma School of Theology (now part of Trinity Lutheran Seminary) and his Th.D., Boston University School of Theology.
Prior to coming to LTSS Dr. Everett was a parish pastor in Ohio. He has also
served as the director of a community mental health center in New York.
His current research interests focus on integrating biblical insights and contemporary challenges of leadership in congregational ministry. He often
serves the South Carolina Synod as an interim pastor, working especially with
congregations that have experienced some degree of discord.
Away from seminary, Dr. Everett enjoys sports, body surfing, and ballroom
dancing with his wife, Judy.
