Giving Societies
Southern Seminary uses ‘giving societies’ as a way to recognize the important contributions our donors are making to the ministry of the seminary each year. Giving society membership is reported every year in the seminary’s Annual Report, a report covering the previous July 1 to June 30 time period. Our donors are recognized as members of:
The Reverend John Bachman Club for gifts of $10,000 or more
The Founder’s Club for gifts of $5,000 to $9,999
The Trustee’s Club for gifts of $1,000 to $4,999
The President’s Club for gifts of $500 to $999
The Dean’s Club for gifts of $250 to $499
The Faculty Club for gifts of $100 to $249
The Steward’s Club for gifts of $1 to $99

In 2008, Southern Seminary added a new society, The Southern Legacy Society, to recognize donors who have made a planned gift or estate bequest for Southern Seminary, and who have authorized the seminary to list their name.
