Reunite with old friends and make new ones at the annual Alumni Day Celebration on May 13, 2010 . A full day of activities is planned, with graduation of the Class of 2010 following on Friday morning. Last year we enjoyed a record crowd, so be sure to mark your calendar and register today! (Note: The Yost Lectures are open to the public and do not require registration)

10:00am - Yost Lectures - Dr. William Cavanaugh (Stavros Hall, Casey Center)
Lecture 1: "The Social Significance of the Eucharist"
Lecture 2: "Being Consumed: Consumer Culture and the Eucharist"
William T. Cavanaugh is Professor of Theology at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota. His degrees are from Notre Dame, Cambridge, and Duke. He is the author of five books, including most recently The Myth of Religious Violence (Oxford University Press, 2009). His books have been translated into French and Spanish.
