Former and Retiring Seminary Faculty Members Recognized

At the Commencement service, held at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Columbia, SC, Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary recognized three Emeriti Faculty awards, one President Emeritus, and the Faculty Distinguished Service Award. .jpg)
The Rev. Dr. Marcus Miller, Seminary President, presented Emeriti Faculty Distinction to three former professors of the seminary: The Rev. Dr. Thomas E. Ridenhour was granted Professor of Homiletics, Emeritus, the Rev. Dr. Nicholas K. Mays Professor of Contextual Education Emeritus, and the Rev. Dr. Phillip Baker, Professor of Missiology and Evangelism Emeritus. Miller also presented former Seminary President H. George Anderson with the title of President Emeritus.
Also during the service, Miller awarded the 2008 Herman W. and Elizabeth P. Cauble Faculty Distinguished Service Award to the Rev. Dr. Nicholas Mays.
