Seminary Welcomes Sandra Cline

Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary welcomes Sandra Cline as the Associate Director of Development and Alumni Relations. In this role, she will develop relationships with congregations in Region 9 of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), be the principal liaison with seminary alumni, and promote advancement of the seminary through major gift development. She will begin her duties on October 1, 2008.
Cline comes to seminary with exceptional experience in business, education, and the ELCA. Prior to joining the seminary she was Senior Director of Melaleuca, Inc., a health and wellness marketer, and Admissions Representative of King’s College, in Charlotte, NC. She has served on the Board of Trustees of Lenoir-Rhyne University for 13 years, and was also a past president of the Lenoir-Rhyne Alumni Association, where she graduated cum laude with a degree in Sociology.
Cline’s experience in the ELCA includes service on the North Carolina Synod Council, and as a voting member for three Churchwide Assemblies. She currently serves as the chair of the Investment Committee of the North Carolina Synod.
